Gumamela Caverock Farm Resort

A couple of friends and I took some time out for an out-of-the-hustle-and-bustle-of-the-city adventure. We heard of this new resort that is not yet as famous as its owner, the famed Davao sculptor Kublai. It's called the Gumamela Caverock Farm Resort. This place is ideal for nature lovers and for those who love to go hiking. After a trip down the trail to the river and falls, we were disappointed to see that the water coming down the falls  is like that coming out of the faucet so we figured we can't take a plunge into it. So, we ended up getting drenched in their jaccuzi and pool which happens to have artificial falls which isn't bad.

Wrist Candies

Since it's the weekend sale, when all the malls in town go on sale everytime pay day falls on a weekend or a Saturday, I wouldn't let it pass without pulling out some cash out of my pocket. Thank goodness I pulled out cash and not my credit cards.

So Friday after work, I dropped by a mall planning to buy something but since I didn't find what I was looking for, I ended up buying another thing which was not really part of the plan. I always end up like this everytime I go malling and my eyes catch something that I couldn't really resist. So here are the things I bought.

These floral bangles are the ones I picked from a bunch of more colorful and hip designs. I would buy each of the designs if my budget would really allow me to. But since I would be paying in cash, and even if I would use plastics I still wouldn't go for more than a couple,  I sticked to these two.  I don't collect bangles or bracelets or anything that can be placed on a wrist but it seems like I have a collection of them including watches.

I bet that those couple of bangles wouldn't be the last and of course, I wouldn't stop at only 5 watch pieces. I want one in every color for every occasion. Haha.

Go Ahead and Shoe Me

There's this particular store in Abreeza Mall called Payless that has really lovely shoes. What's so nice about it is that shoes are categorized according to size. So if you know your size, all you need to do is to go to the aisle where your size is. Too bad I have small feet so they only have a few options available for my size. But nevertheless, the shoes are lovely. And the price? I can say it's not that bad for a basic-rate earner.

My colleague at work and I went in the store just to go window shopping but oh boy,we didn't leave the store empty-handed. We ended up buying a pair of 4-inch heels. And we even have the same design and color! Only the sizes differ. Here's a look at what we got our hands and feet in to.

A few days after we bought these kicks, Payless had a Buy 3 Take 1 Promo. We were frustrated we never got the chance to avail of the promo. I'm pretty sure there will still be other promos and we'll try not to have identical kicks. :P

Coco Loco

These came in a box together with Ferrero Rocher and Ferrero Rondnoir. Of course, being the curious kid that I am, I tried all flavors. And, these white-foiled balls caught my attention. They taste just like coconut.
Garden coco confections are a savory combination of rich coconut cream surrounding a sweet almond, within a delicate, crisp wafer, topped with meringue and shredded coconut.
I heard there are other flavors too like Almond, Pistachio,Hazelnut, and Walnut. I can't wait to try each of them when I see a one.

Butterflies on my ears

My mom gave this pair to me and I love it. I love jewelries and accessories and most of my gold jewelries are given by my equally-addicted-to-jewelries mother. Maybe I'm just too stingy when it comes to buying gold jewelries for myself. Ahaha. LOL.

Horrible Bosses

If you guys enjoyed watching Hangover, then I bet you'll love this as well. It's probably a better one. It's about three guys having the same problem just like any other employee out there in every working day of their lives and that's having a horrible boss. Admit it, there was once in your life that you wish you could just zip your boss' mouth or throw him/her in the trash bin or wish that he/she would take a long vacation and never come back ever again.

Remember Alan from hangover? The guy with a beard who was the funniest in the group? Well, Horrible Bosses also has an Alan in the group and that's Dale played by Charlie Day. He was the one who almost knocked me off my seat while watching the movie. I just love his scenes with his sex-crazed maneater boss played by no other than Jennifer Aniston who by the way, has gone topless in this movie. Here's a screen shot of Jennifer Aniston seducing his dental assistant Charlie Day.

And as for the topless Jennifer Aniston? Nah, I wouldn't give you a peek. Just watch the movie and there's no doubt you'll be laughing your hearts out just like me.
I just hope there's still a Part 2 for this movie cuz it was really hilarious.

Lazy Daisy

The blue denim top was just given to me by my mom. She's a hoarder for clothes. She has like 25+ leggings. But I'm not into leggings. I only have a pair. So everytime she brings home new clothes and I like any of them, I outrightly but shyly ask her if I can have it. And, she generously give it without any hesitations. That's what I love about her. :)
The rest of the outfit are from my closet.
